Okay, so posting some more pictures here, a few at a time and accompanied by varying amounts of narrative. These five are from the 1st day of the trip, on which (as usual) I drove to Medora, ND and set up camp for the night in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Well, actually, they’re all from that evening, upon reaching the first day’s destination. I don’t really have a ton to say about the first day of the trip; it was a driving day, I listened to music and settled into “vacation mode,” etc. My excitement level was high, but the day itself was relatively uneventful.
